Dynamic saving path is a feature that enables JungleDocs for Office 365 to automatically select different saving locations - or create new ones - in SharePoint Online depending on the conditions specified. It's a very useful tool for organizations that use file naming conventions.

Configuration

1. To access the feature's settings, select any JungleDocs for Office 365 rule, click on the settings icon, then select Edit rule.

2. In the Automation section, under Dynamic saving path, click Add and select parameters that will be automatically applied to new documents created using this rule.

Note: dynamic saving path option is only visible if the rule is set to save a document to a SharePoint list or library.

Example

In the example above, dynamic saving path is configured to do multiple things at once. Using this configuration, JungleDocs for Office 365 saves reports into the Reports library, creates or uses a folder of the year (2019), creates or uses a folder of the month (09), and creates or uses a folder of Company Name, if a report on that company was generated previously that month.
