Document merging

It is easy to merge multiple documents into a single file using JungleDocs for Office 365. Before following instructions, make sure you have installed Modern UI, since merging is not available in the main app.

To merge documents

1. Select documents that you want to merge.

2. Launch JungleDocs for Office 365 from the menu bar.

3. Go to the Merge tab and select:

  • Merge and download to merge documents into a file of the same format and download it (Note: if multiple document formats are selected, this option will not be available).
  • Merge and download as PDF to merge documents of the same or differing formats into a PDF file and download it.
  • Merge and save to current folder to merge documents into a file of the same format and save it to the currently opened SharePoint library (Note: if multiple document formats are selected, this option will not be available).
  • Merge and save to current folder as PDF to merge documents of the same or differing formats into a PDF file and download it.
  • Download as ZIP archive to compress documents into an archive and download it.

To add documents from other libraries

You can also add documents to the Merge list from other libraries in the same site, other subsites, sites, and site collections to merge them all at once.

1. Select the documents in the initial library and launch JungleDocs for Office 365.

2. Go to the Merge tab and select Keep and add more.

3. Go to another library, select documents to add, and launch JungleDocs for Office 365 again.

4. On the Merge tab, you will see the newly added documents marked in grey. If you want to add more files, repeat steps 2-3.

To change merge order

1. In the Merge list, select and drag documents to rearrange their order.

2. Select one of the merge actions. The changes you made in the merge list order will be reflected in the merged document.
